Coming And Going

It’s swan season around here these days but it won’t last for long.

The Trumpeter Swans and ducks of many kinds pass through here on their way up north to Canada. They layover for a week or two and rest up for the long journey across Lake Erie.

The sky is filled all day long with swans and ducks coming and going, in pairs and groups and even by their lonesome. Here are three coming in for a water landing…

and three more on their way out to different part of the marsh…

Trumpeters at the Marsh

It’s quite a site, believe me, especially after months of the marsh lying dormant and frozen.
To see so much life was a blast!
