Bunny by a Spruce
There’s a park nearby with lots of rabbits. Not hundreds, but dozens, and most of those stay hidden.
I like to photograph them because they’re alive, skittish, harmless, and simply an overall wonderful animal subject. They’re quiet, too. I imagine a bunny would make a big noise if you stuck it with a fork, and I figure it would sound like the shutter-squeal you hear from an aging Canon A-series film camera (AV-1, AE-1, AT-1, A-1, etc.) whose mirror-lifter hydraulic has dried out.
Nobody sticks live bunnies with forks, so they remain silent and peaceful and cool.
